WorldAtlas Features My Photography Again in Their 2026 “Best Towns in Pennsylvania” Article

Seeing my work appear repeatedly in national publications is always an honor, and this feature includes several of my images from towns I’ve photographed extensively over the years.

My Images Featured in the Article

WorldAtlas highlighted nine Pennsylvania towns, and among them were several locations where my editorial photography has become part of their visual storytelling. In this article, my images appear in:

  • Ephrata — a town known for its historic cloister and quiet charm
  • Lititz — featuring the Julius Sturgis Pretzel Bakery, one of my most‑licensed subjects
  • Gettysburg — a place where my street scenes and editorial coverage are frequently used
  • Wellsboro — including my image of the iconic gas‑lit Main Street and the Wellsboro Diner

It’s always rewarding to see my work help illustrate these towns, especially when the images support travel, history, and regional storytelling — the exact type of editorial work I’ve dedicated years to building.

Grateful for the Ongoing Use of My Work

I’m genuinely grateful that WorldAtlas continues to use my images over and over in their features. Their editors consistently select photographs that capture authentic small‑town life, architecture, and street scenes — subjects I’ve spent countless hours documenting across Pennsylvania and the Mid‑Atlantic.

I often wish I knew their publishing schedule so I could photograph even more of the towns they plan to feature. It would be great to produce fresh visuals specifically for their upcoming stories. Until then, I’ll keep building my archive, one town at a time.

Autumn Means More Small‑Town Street Photography

As autumn moves forward, I’ll be out photographing more street scenes in small towns across Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Maryland. Fall is one of the best seasons for editorial photography — crisp air, vibrant colors, festivals, markets, and the kind of everyday moments that make small towns so visually rich.

Expect new images from places like:

  • Lititz
  • Ephrata
  • Gettysburg
  • Havre de Grace
  • Chestertown
  • Elkton
  • York and surrounding boroughs

These towns offer endless opportunities for storytelling, especially as the leaves change and local events fill the calendar.

Now Submitting Again to Depositphotos

In addition to my regular submissions to Shutterstock, Adobe Stock, Alamy, Dreamstime, and iStock, I’ve also resumed submitting new work to Depositphotos. It’s another platform where editorial buyers look for authentic regional imagery, and I’m glad to expand my distribution again.

The Kipona festival, small‑town street scenes, autumn events, and architectural details will all be part of the new batches heading to my agencies.
