Riding the rails at the Strasburg Railroad offers a different experience this summer. The Norfolk & Western Class J 611 is the only surviving steam locomotive with a sleek, art-deco design. The 611 locomotive will be at the Strasburg Railroad this summer, and is scheduled for service until October, 2021.

It was Civil War Days at the Landis Valley Farm Museum in Lancaster County PA. Reenactors were encamped and added new recruits to their ranks. It was just of the day’s activities at the unique museum. Children participated in their enrollment by taking the same oath as a Union soldier took in the Civil War….
