It was Civil War Days at the Landis Valley Farm Museum in Lancaster County PA. Reenactors were encamped and added new recruits to their ranks. It was just of the day’s activities at the unique museum.
Children participated in their enrollment by taking the same oath as a Union soldier took in the Civil War. They were soon in formation, learning to march and other basics as a member of the military.
Amish and non-Amish youths were actively playing volleyball in the Community Park during the Heritage Day Event in Intercourse, Lancaster County. The annual event attracts a large crowd from the local community, and teenagers mingle and socialize over spirited games of volleyball.
I have been working on a special project, and it includes creating some macro images of the US bicentennial quarters. Here is one of the images from the back f the Pennsylvania quarter. To created the image, i used a Sony 90mm 2,8 Macro lens.
Mother’s Day, 2022, and before the local truckers started their annual trek for the Make-A-Wish Foundation’s Convoy, there is a carnival at the Manheim Auto Auction in Manheim, Lancaster County. A recent assignment took me to Baltimore, and while there, I had a chance to visit the city’s Inner Harbor. While walking in the area I noticed this colorful Visit Baltimore Sign. It certainly caught my eye.
