During the 2016 US Presidential Election Campaign, I had the opportunity to photograph several large events. During a campaign rally in Manheim, Lancaster County, while I was in the Press section, I noticed an Amish man holding a Make America Great Again sign.
I did grab some photos of the man and even caught him waving at me.
I was wearing my press pass credential, and I was in the open. In other words, I was not hiding. The Amish, who often shun any attempt at photography, proudly stood there waving his sign.
I almost forgot I had these images, but glad I found them in my collection. You never know what you might see when covering a news event.
