In the town square on Sunday, July 3, the town of Gettysburg rocked during the 4th of July with loud music. A local band filled the center of with a heavy metal sound and moppy hair to the crowd’s delight.

The local fire companies attended the Heritage Day event in Intercourse, Pennsylvania, and displayed their equipment and gear used to protect the community. The ambulance crews and paramedics also showed off their ambulance rigs. Some of the children at the park took time to talk to a firefighter and ask questions about the firefighting gear.

The Augusta Free Press used a fire line photo by George Sheldon to illustrate a new article. The image was of fire tape stretched the message Fire Line Do Not Cross. A photo credit was also given. A copy of the article screen shot was obtained.
Here are several images of a one-room Amish schoolhouse located in Ronks, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. These images are just some I created while in the area on another assignment. The schoolhouse has a more finished or modern look than most found in the rural areas of the county.
