As is so often the situation, I never set out to get a photo of firefighter gear ready for the next call. I just happened to walk past a fire station in Emittsburg, Maryland, and saw this gear hanging on the way. It is now part of the licensable images available from my representative agencies.

There is a small village (technically a borough) located in Southen York County, not far from the Maryland border, named Railroad.
