A recent assignment took me to Baltimore, and while there, I had a chance to visit the city’s Inner Harbor. While walking in the area I noticed this colorful Visit Baltimore Sign. It certainly caught my eye.
While in Lancaster County’s Elizabethtown, I had a few moments to stop by the train station. The community does have access to Amtrak service, and my unplanned visit allowed me to create some images of a passenger train arriving and then departing. An unusual but fun activity in the community park is cookie decorating. It was held during the annual Heritage Day in Intercourse, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Youngsters take time to decorate cookies with icing and sprinkles.

Sometimes, before news conferences or media availability events, there is an opportunity to photograph some of the members of the media in attendance. It offers an opportunity to make sure the cameras are working and set properly, and it also makes some subjects for some unplanned images.
As part of the Civil Wr Days at the Landis Valley Farm Museum in Lancaster County, PA, the reenactors provided information on the Union Cavalry, including their purpose, equipment, and military tactics. Dressed impeccably, the reenactors engaged with the museum visitors and readily answered questions.
