Hello, I’m George Sheldon—an editorial and commercial photographer based in the heart of York County, Pennsylvania. For over five decades, I’ve been telling stories through imagery, capturing the people, places, and moments that define the Mid-Atlantic region and beyond.

📖 My Story

Photography found me early. At age 15, I photographed a devastating fire that destroyed a bank in my hometown. I developed the film, sold the images for $15, and was instantly hooked. That moment sparked a lifelong journey—one that’s taken me across industries and platforms, from newspapers and magazines to books, websites, and global stock agencies.

Today, I’m proud to contribute regularly to Getty Images, Shutterstock, Adobe Stock, Alamy, and Dreamstime, while also accepting freelance assignments across Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, and neighboring states.
